- A mobile phone with SMS capability
- A valid National Identification Number (NIN)
- At least ₦50 airtime on your SIM card

Steps to Generate Your JAMB Profile Code
Step 1
Send an SMS to JAMB’s Official Number
Follow this simple format:
NIN [your NIN]
For example, if your NIN is 12345678901, send:
NIN 12345678901
to 55019 or 66019 (whichever is available).
Note: The sending of NIN cost ₦50

Receive Your Profile Code
After sending the SMS, you should receive a response from JAMB containing your 10-digit profile code.

- No Response from JAMB After Sending the SMS

Try resending the message using another network provider.
- Lost Profile Code?
If you lost your profile code, simply resend:
RESEND
to 55019 or 66019, and JAMB will send it again.
