The Laidlaw Scholars Leadership and Research Programme is designed to develop a new generation of leaders through leadership training and research projects. It operates across several leading universities worldwide.
Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate Status: Open to undergraduate students in their penultimate year of study at participating universities.
Academic Standing: Applicants should have a strong academic record.
Leadership Potential: Demonstrated leadership qualities and a commitment to personal development.
Work Experience: While there is no formal work experience requirement, involvement in extracurricular activities, volunteer work, or prior research experience can enhance an application.
Programme Structure
Research Project: Scholars undertake an independent research project over the summer, supervised by an academic mentor.
Leadership Training: Participants engage in leadership development activities, including workshops and seminars.
