The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has outlined the schedule for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), including key dates for registration, the mock examination, and the main exam. Prospective candidates should take note of these important timelines to ensure a smooth application process.

Registration Period:
Registration for the 2025 UTME commenced on February 3, 2025, and is set to conclude on March 8, 2025. As of February 25, over 1.5 million candidates have successfully registered. JAMB has emphasized that there will be no extension beyond the March 8 deadline, urging all prospective candidates to complete their registration promptly to avoid last-minute issues.

Mock Examination:
To help candidates familiarize themselves with the Computer-Based Test (CBT) environment, JAMB has scheduled an optional mock examination for April 5, 2025. Candidates interested in taking the mock exam must indicate their interest during the UTME registration process and complete their registration early to secure a spot.

Main UTME Examination:
The main UTME is slated to take place from April 25, 2025, to May 5, 2025. Candidates are advised to reprint their examination slips a week before the exam to confirm their exact date, time, and venue. The examination will be held at designated CBT centers across the country, based on the examination town selected during registration.

Registration Fees:
The cost for registering for the UTME varies depending on whether a candidate opts to take the mock examination:
With Mock Exam: ₦8,200
Without Mock Exam: ₦7,200
These fees cover the UTME application fee, reading text, CBT center service charges, and bank charges.
